These are very sad times for 12-year-old Victor Ayomide Folorunsho and his parents following a motor accident on October 31, 2016, in which Victor sustained 18 per cent total body surface area full thickness burns to both lower limbs and a cleft clavicular fracture.
According to his father, Mr Oluwafemi Folorunsho, Victor was admitted at the University College Hospital, (UCH), Ibadan, and had since had four surgeries. His last surgery was carried out on the 4th of November, 2016.
In a letter signed by the hospital, Victor needs to undergo three more surgeries, with his major challenge in the area of fund. The fund is meant to cover surgeries, dressings, antibiotics, adequate nutrition and bed fees among others.
While pleading for help, his father said the entire cost that would make his son get his feet back would be One Million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira only (N1,500,000).
