Vbank partners with Lagos kids mini marathon 2024 to promote fitness

VFD Microfinance Bank has partnered with the Lagos Kids Mini Marathon 2024, an annual event hosted by the St. Saviour’s School Ikoyi Endowment Fund to inspire children to embrace fitness, and cultivate healthy habits.

Speaking about this partnership, Head of Marketing, VFD Microfinance bank, Mr Bidemi Alfred said such would also support initiatives aimed at improving access to quality education for underprivileged schools.

Alfred noted that this collaboration underscores the Bank’s commitment to promoting active, health-conscious lifestyles among children while supporting charitable causes that uplift education and community well-being.

This was just as he stated that the bank is dedicated to fostering a healthier, more inclusive society by championing initiatives that support families, education, and community growth.

Meanwhile, Alfred disclosed that Funds raised through this year’s event will benefit the St. Saviour’s School Ikoyi Endowment Fund, contributing to the development of less-privileged schools and communities across Nigeria.

“Scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 7th, 2024, the Lagos Kids Mini Marathon brings together families and communities to inspire children to embrace fitness, cultivate healthy habits, and support initiatives aimed at improving access to quality education for underprivileged schools.
