Renowned entrepreneur and Managing Director/CEO of Vanny Casual, Vanessa Nicholas, has been announced as a recipient of the prestigious Distinguished Honour Award: Nation Builder per Excellence at the 5th Edition of the African Fashion & Art Award (AFAA) 2020.

Nicholas, the innovative mind behind Vanny Casual, has been recognised for her outstanding contributions to the fashion and art industry.

The nomination and selection committee of the African Fashion & Art Award (AFAA) 2020 meticulously reviewed numerous nominations of exceptionally high calibre.

After thorough deliberation and a monitored voting process conducted by an independent accredited audit committee, Vanessa Nicholas emerged as a standout choice for this prestigious honour.

The AFAA, themed “Sustaining Nation Building Through Collective Collaboration,” aims to celebrate and acknowledge individuals and organisations making significant strides in the fashion and art sectors while contributing positively to nation-building efforts.

In recognition of her exemplary dedication and remarkable achievements, Vanessa Nicholas has been invited to the Award Dinner scheduled for December 18th, 2020, at the Dome Conference Hall, Top Rank Galaxy Hotels, Utako, Abuja. The event, set to commence at 6:00 pm (WAT), will honour Vanessa and other noteworthy recipients.

As part of the pre-event activities, the organisers have requested an Audience/Appointment with Vanessa Nicholas. This meeting will serve as an opportunity to formally present her with the Award Recipient Certificate and conduct a brief Media Profile Interview.
