‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star James Kennedy arrested over alleged domestic violence

James Kennedy, known for his role on the reality series Vanderpump Rules, was arrested earlier this week on suspicion of misdemeanour domestic violence.

According to Police, Kennedy, 32, whose full name is James Kennedy Georgiou, was taken into custody on Tuesday night in Burbank, Los Angeles County, following a police response to a call regarding an argument at a residence around 11:30 p.m.

“The investigation determined it was a domestic incident, leading to Mr Georgiou’s arrest,” Burbank police confirmed in a statement.

According to NBC News, he was booked on suspicion of domestic violence and later released on bail. Police stated that formal charges are pending a review by the Burbank City Attorney’s office.

Kennedy, who is currently in a relationship with Ally Lewber, a fellow Vanderpump Rules alum, appeared to have attended a Christmas party hosted by Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kathy Hilton earlier that evening, as evidenced by social media posts.

Representatives for Kennedy have yet to comment on the arrest.

The incident comes just weeks after Vanderpump Rules announced its return for a 12th season with a refreshed cast, marking the departure of Kennedy and other original stars.

The show recently garnered attention for its highly publicised “Scandoval,” where cast member Tom Sandoval’s affair with Raquel Leviss overshadowed the season finale.

Kennedy, who rose to fame as a DJ and reality star, has not publicly addressed the arrest. As authorities complete their review, further developments in the case are expected.
