In celebration of Valentine’s Day, the wives of the Ooni of Ife and the Governor of Bauchi State have come together to show love and support to vulnerable women and children in Bauchi.
Olori Tomitope Enitan Ogunwusi, through her Hope Alive Initiative, and Aisha Bala Mohammed, through her Al-Muhibbah Foundation, distributed gifts to 100 nursing mothers, including children’s kits and nutritional food.
According to Olori Tomitope Enitan, “Everyday, His Imperial Majesty, Ooni Ogunwusi is serving people, taking care of humanity, we always look count of people coming, he lives for the people, he wants people to just live a good life.”
She emphasized that the Foundation is using Valentine’s Day to celebrate love with the less privileged people, with particular attention on women and children who need help and support.
“We have brought all these gifts to babies born in this season of love. We are doing it simultaneously across the country in our little way,” she added.
Aisha Bala Mohammed also expressed her gratitude and joy in being part of this collaboration, stating that Almuhibbah Foundation is proud to complement the efforts of the Hope Alive Initiative.
The Foundation provided food packages to 60 malnourished children across Bauchi State, hoping to give them the nourishment they need to thrive.
The Hope Alive Initiative also distributed 40 baby kits to children born in February, especially those born on Valentine’s Day.
This heartwarming initiative showcases the power of collaboration and kindness, making a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable women and children in Bauchi.
