Bawa who was a former member of the House of Representatives representing Kaduna North remarked that his decision was to enable him to pursue other things in life
In his resignation letter dated 14th July 2018 which he personally signed and addressed to the party’s chairman in his local government, the speaker aide disclosed that he was leaving the party.
‘I write to convey my decision to resign as a Member of the All Progressive Congress ( APC) following consultations with my teaming supporters.

“The decision has become imperative to enable me to pursue other courses of life. I seize this opportunity to express my appreciation to the executives and members of APC for their support during my stint with the party,” he said.
Bawa was appointed by Speaker House of Representative Yakubu Dogara Special Adviser on Special Duties in 2015.
However, he didn’t mention the new party he will be joining.
