Lantang politician, Senator Jeremiah Useni, has led other top Northern leaders and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leaders on solidarity visit to four prominent members of the immediate past administration who are in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) headquarters, in Abuja.
The four EFCC detainees former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Bala Mohammed and former presidential spokesperson, Dr Reuben Abati.
Useni, who was a former military leader and Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), in company of Alhaji Abubakar Mohammed, who had also served as Minister of Federal Capital Teritory (FCT), former Minister of Culture, Ambassador Iliya Damagua and former presidential candidate, Chief John Dara, on Thursday, visited Obanikoro, Fani-Kayode, Mohammed, and Abati.
Others who accompanied Useni on the visit were members, House of Representatives, Hon. Halliru Ilea, Hon. Salisu Ningi, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leaders from Osun State, Aremo Adekunle Alao, Chief Babatunde Ajala, and Mr. Jonathan Asake of the Christian Information Network.
As gathered by Nigerian Tribune, Useni and others arrived the EFCC headquarters at about 4:30 p.m, where they encouraged and prayed for the detainees.
They were said to have expressed joy on the fact that the detainees looked well and were remaining strong.
The detainees, it was gathered, thanked their guests for the visit and asked them to let the world know that they are well and would soon be vindicated.
