On the US policy on Nigeria

It is fair to say that many Nigerians are troubled over the reported decision of the United States government to restrict the access of Nigerians to the country.

Nigerians could be in a disturbing position if the US government designates Boko Haram as a terror group and thus bans Nigerians from visiting the country for a certain period. Currently, citizens of terror-prone countries cannot visit the United States.

This decision by the Donald Trump administration should actually serve as a wake-up call to Nigerians to do all that they can to make Nigeria great.

More important, it is a clarion call on the Nigerian government to make Nigeria better and to defeat terrorism within our borders.
