US elections result: Presidential race tied in New Hampshire; Ayotte wins big in governor’s contest

On November 5, voters across the U.S. cast their final ballots, which will determine the direction of the country, as well as state and local municipalities, for years to come.

As Election Day approached, Democrat Kamala Harris and Republican Donald Trump were in a tight race for the White House, with control of both the U.S. Senate and House also at stake.

Election maps in New Hampshire show that Trump and Harris each received 50% of the votes, resulting in a tie.

In the race for governorship, Republican Kelly Ayotte has amassed 83.3% of the votes, securing 5 Electoral College votes, compared to her opponent, who has 1 Electoral College vote.
