Senator Amosun, in his lead debate, said the Commission has become necessary in the face of dwindling infrastructural challenges and development of human capacity the region is contending with.
He was, however, countered by the duo of Senators Adamu Bulkachuwa and Peter Nwaoboshi, representing Bauchi North and Delta North, respectively, who argued that establishment of such Commission could instigate the Balkanisation of the country.
