Uphold virtues of Ramadan, Lagos council boss charges Muslims

The Executive Chairman of Itire-Ikate LCDA, Hon. (Dr.) Ahmed Olanrewaju Apatira has urged Muslims to uphold the virtues of Ramadan beyond its conclusion by fostering a spirit of compassion, and unity for the greater good of society.

While congratulating Muslims on this year’s Eid-el-Fitri celebration, he urged Muslims to imbibe the values and morals of the Holy Month of Ramadan outside of the glorious in their daily lives. He charged them to perpetuate acts of kindness and unwavering devotion to Allah beyond the conclusion of Ramadan.

In his Eid-el-Fitri message, Apatira called upon Muslims to seize the opportunity to continue their good deeds and deepen their spiritual connection through supplication and prayer. He encouraged them to beseech God for peace, unity, and the overall development of Nigeria, with a particular focus on Lagos State.
