UPDATE: NCAA commences investigation into United Nigeria Airlines’ flight diversion

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding United Nigeria Airlines’ flight NUA 0506 to Asaba and the confusion it has created in the public domain.

This was contained in a statement signed and issued by the director general of the NCAA, Captain Musa Nuhu.

However, preliminary steps have been taken pending conclusions of ongoing investigation.

The regulatory body reassured the travelling public that it would leave no stone unturned as it had always done to ensure the aviation industry’s continued safety.
