Unravel killers of our party leader, Oyo APC tells CP

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State has urged the state Commissioner of Police, Shina Olukolu to unravel the killers of a leader of the party in the state, Arasi Oreitan.

In a statement by the party’s publicity secretary, Dr Azeez Olatunde, the Oyo APC said arresting the killers was important for the state to sustain its toga of being among the safest in the country.

More worrisome, according to the party was that the assassination occurred in broad daylight.

“That Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Compol Sina Olukolu and his Police Squad from the Police headquarters, Eleyele, IBADAN, was at the house of the slained old man is bad enough to witness the gory scene of how the old man was brutally slaughtered in his house, just after observing his 2 pm Islamic Prayer today is nothing but dastardly act.

“What could be the offense of a 77 years old amiable politician, whom those close to him will attest to the fact that he can’t even hurt a fly.

“APC is urging the Security outfit in Oyo State to kindly unravel the identity of the heartless Killers gang,” the party’s statement read in part.
