Unknown gunmen kidnap two in Bauchi

Unknown gunmen on Sunday, 30th July 2023, stormed Nahuta village in Gobbiya ward of Bogoro LGA, Bauchi.

A reliable source from the area disclosed that the gunmen stormed the village at about 2300 hours wielding AK-47 refles, machetes and other dangerous weapons.

They were said to have invaded the settlement in a commando like manner shooting AK-47 sporadically to scare people away in order to be able to hit their target.

The source added that the gunmen went straight into the families compound of one Sale Ardo JAGABA, a Fulani by tribe, aged 50 years  and kidnapped him alongside oneTambaya Ardo Jagaba also a Fulani by tribe aged 48 years.

The gunmen kidnapped their victims and went away with them to an unknown destination and are yet to contact the families of the kidnap victims, Nigerian Tribune gathered.

All efforts to get confirmation of the incidence from the State Police Command failed as the PPRO, SP Ahmed Wakili was not reachable when contacted.
