Jeremiah Tweinta, a missionary in Taraba State has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Gongomaliki area of Jalingo, the state capital.
Twentia, who is a missionary with Peculiar Treasure Mission was abducted at 1:51 am on Tuesday.
The kidnappers had shot into the air to scare residents of the area before the abduction.

A relative who spoke to newsmen said Twentia was sleeping in his hut when the hoodlums picked him up and took him to an unknown destination.
He added that the hoodlums are yet to contact the family for ransom or any condition to be met for his release.
The Taraba State Police Public Relations Officer, David Misal, however, said the case is yet to be reported to him.
