Unillorin expels, rusticates students for misconduct

The management of the University of Ilorin has punished four students of the institution for various offences bordering on misconduct.

Two of the affected students were expelled, while the other two were rusticated.

In a statement by the director of corporate affairs of the university, Kunle Akogun, he said that the Vice Chancellor has approved the rustication and expulsion of the students after the Students’ Disciplinary Committee’s (SDC) recommendation on Friday, July 5, 2024.

The statement said that the rusticated students, identified as Olabanji, Toluwanimi David, and Dosunmu, Ezekiel Olabanji, were asked to leave the school for one academic session.
