In a statement in Benin on Tuesday by the institution’s spokesman, Mr Michael Osasuyi, he confirmed the tragedy, noting that investigation was ongoing to unravel the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
“The information we had was that a spillover student fell from upstairs. In any case, it’s so pathetic that this kind of incident happened.
“We have contacted his family and the security have commenced an investigation into the incident to unravel if it was a case of suicide or otherwise,” Osasuyi said.
