A fast-growing online technology school, Conclase Academy, has launched a new initiative called ” UniAccelerate” to expose Nigerian university students to modern and better proficiency in the world of tech education to tackle spiralling youth joblessness in the system.
This tech job creation innovative programme, offers a 50% discount on high-demand tech skills training, helping students fast-track the time between graduation and getting their dream tech opportunities.
A release signed by the founder of Conclase Academy, Adeposi Bamiduro, on Tuesday, said the initiative was borne out of the need to improve the quality of tech talents and innovations in Africa for self-employment and to break new grounds of job accessibility in the country.
Disclosing that all the Nigerian university students are eligible for the programme, Bamiduro noted that the academy offers its students the ability to master In-demand skills with ease, choose from 10 high-demand courses, including the new Cybersecurity programme, Data Analytics, Flutter, and DevOps.
The statement reads; “UniAccelerate is our response to a growing need in the system. With tech becoming a normal part of our daily lives, it is important to ensure Africans are part of conversations where the future is being shaped by tech. Any interested university student can apply.

“The tech industry faces a significant skills gap. Tech isn’t being taught in our schools. Students first graduate before learning the skills that make them employable in the tech job market; that is precious time being wasted.

The tech expert added that the application for the Academy Cohort six session is now open for students who want to learn Cybersecurity, Frontend Engineering, Backend Engineering, DevOps Engineering, Data Analysis, Product Management, Product Design, Flutter, Software Quality Assurance, or SAP.
