The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students has commended the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Chi-Kings Home, Mr Kingsley Ehimhem for providing gainful employment to 54 University graduates recently.
NANS said the students were also excited that the philanthropist has offered a scholarship to over 50 indigents students so as to enable them to complete their academic pursuit.
National Public Relations Officer of NANS, Comrade Adeyemi Azeez, in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja, said the student body was glad that Ehimhem has shared in the problems and challenges confronting Nigerian Students during and after school.

He said: “It is no longer news that the strength and ability to survive the cumbersome needs as students in Nigerian universities had been one of the major challenges Nigerian students face in school and another is the problem of unemployment after graduation.
“NANS describes as laudable, the sincere magnanimity of Mr Kingsley Ehimhem in seeing it needful for him to contribute his quota towards solving the country’s problem, thereby raising the hopes of less privileged and jobless Nigerian students.
‘Some of these beneficiaries could have ordinarily turned dropouts or engaged in a series of social vices, due to lack of hopes and supports in pursuing their desired goals and aims.
“NANS make bold to call on well-meaning and comfortable Nigerians to also emulate the humanitarian style of Mr Kingsley Ehimhem by raising hopes of Nigerian students and Nigerians as a whole in their own corresponding capacity.
“The president of NANS, Comrade Danielson Bamidele Akpan, has directed that Mr Kinglsey Ehimhem, MD/CEO of CHI-KINGS HOME be decorated with NANS national outstanding award as “ICON OF HOPE”.
“This is coming in recognition of his unrelenting efforts towards restoring the lost glory of our dear country Nigeria,” Azeez said.
