Gbenga Daniel
Former governor of Ogun State, Chief Gbenga Daniel, has urged leaders and well -to- do in the society, to create wealth by investing their businesses in the country to address the challenge of youth unemployment.
Daniel said this in an interview after conducting newsmen on a facility tour of his new hotel, Conference Hotel, in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, on Friday.
He said such step would put an end to capital flight, which according to him was not good for the nation’s economy.

The former governor said the new facility at inception had 300 workers with additional 200 recruited as permanent staff while wondering the number of employment that could have been created, if one investment from a single individual could provide such number of jobs to the youth.
Daniel said he had moved on from the perceived witch-hunt by the last administration which saw the confiscation of his multi-billion naira five-star Hotel in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, for eight years.
“To forgive is divine. You know me, I don’t waste time to forgive and I guess everybody (connected with my hotel closure) has regretted it. The most important thing is that I’m alive. I took everything as the way God has planned it,” Daniel said.
