The University of Ibadan Ventures and 1st A-Z Limited have expressed concern over the intake of adulterated drugs and consumption of unhygienic foods and other things that affect the wellbeing of the people.
Disturbed by this development, the UI Ventures in collaboration with 1st A-Z Limited have packaged a one week exhibition programme which is scheduled to kick off on Monday, 25th March, 2024 at the University campus.
The Acting Managing Director, of the UI Ventures Francis Olalekan Akingbade said the exhibition which is of an International status is aimed at showcasing the kind of foods, drugs and beverages that are available and probably out of the reach but of immense value to the wellbeing of the people.
The UI Ventures is proud to be partnering with 1st A-Z Limited to jointly educate the world on some of the things that they might not have been aware of before.
“We have different kinds of foods especially in this part of the world that our food is monotonous. All the food vendors will be coming with their products. They are going to be teaching us on how to prepare these foods especially in this clime that we are experiencing economic downturn.
“There are some food that are so economical and affordable to the families which are balanced diets. They are going to be teaching us about all those stuffs
“The project has been designed in such a way that we will be entertaining different kind of strata of people from the community, the academia, the students, captains of industry within and outside the Country.
“The exhibition is opened to both local and foreign manufacturers but such products must be registered with the regulatory authorities such as NAFDAC and SON’
Earlier, the Secretary of 1st A-Z, Mrs Modupe Abdulahi has disclosed that the exhibition would have in attendance companies from outside the Country.
