TWP 2 Destination Dubai hits screen across globe

Still basking in the success of the first movie production, The Wedding Party 1, the brains behind the movie have said that the second phase of widely accepted movie entitled: The Wedding Party 2: Destination Dubai, will hit the screen on the platform of the  Filmhouse cinema across the globe.

According to the producers, the movie produced by Elfike collective production, which holds the exclusive digital distribution rights in Nigerian is the highest grossing Nigerian cinema release of all time.

The director of the movie Niyi Akinmolayan, noted that, The Wedding Party 2: Destination Dubai, represents a triumph of ambitious Nigerian Filmmaking.

R learnt that fans of characters in the movie, including Sola Sobowale, Alibaba, Adesua Etomi, Bankole Wellington, Richard Mofe-Damijo and Ireti Doyle will be able to associate with the celebs as they traverse the globe from Lagos to Dubai.

The Managing Director of FilmOne Distribution & Production and a member of the ELFIKE Collective, Moses Babatope, noted that the distribution was not limited to the cinemas, adding, “There are always an avenue and an experience that the fans are looking for. We just fulfill that need. FilmOne wouldn’t be the powerhouse it is without the support of its sister companies: Filmhouse Cinemas and myFilmHouse. It’s a thing of pride to see all three of these arms working in perfect sync and capturing markets at home and internationally”.

R also gathered that the management of Filmhouse had created a bonus for the audience, as special discount codes are available for The Wedding Party 2 exclusively on the platform.
