The movies entitled, Oro Mi and Olori Amelegbe, will also be screened on different dates.
Oro Mi will be premiered in Dagenham, UK on July 14, while Olori Amelegbe gets the 18th of July date fixture in Dallas in United States of America. Meanwhile, the premiere will be rounded off on the August 4 in Maryland, USA
The high-flying actress, who majors in the Yoruba sector of Nollywood, stated the rationale behind the scheduled venues.
She said: “I still intend to bring it to Nigeria for premiere, but I just want to start from there, for the fact that most part of the films were shot in UK and US.”
Kuti also said both films, which were directed by Oluwole Samson Adebayo and Abbey Lanre respectively, were inspired by true life stories.
Speaking about Pasuma’s appearance on the films’ premiere jingles, the Face to Face actor said, “Pasuma was not in the movie, he will only play during the premiere.”
