Two frogs with the same problem

Published by

Once upon a time, a group of frogs was roaming about the forest in search of water. Suddenly, two frogs in the group fell into a deep pit.

Seeing how deep the pit was, the other frogs told the two frogs in the pit there was no way they could come out of the pit and so there was no point trying. They continued to discourage those frogs as they tried to jump out of the pit but kept falling back.

Soon, one of the two frogs started to believe the other frogs-that they would never be able to get out of the pit and eventually it died after giving up.

The other frog kept trying and eventually jumped so high that it came out of the pit. The other frogs were shocked at this and wondered how he did it.

The difference was that the second frog was deaf and couldn’t hear the discouraging words by the group. He simply thought they were cheering him on!
