Following the success of the first edition, premium liqueur brand, Jägermeister has concluded the second edition of its nationwide Bar Staff Contest with two bartenders winning eight million naira in cash prize.
Adetayo Akinniyi of MATRIX Lounge in Oyo and David Ovakpo of Dplug Lounge in Benin, both bartenders surpassed the sales target with over 1,000 Jägermeister bottles each and were awarded a cash prize of eight million naira in total.
Participants were required to meet specific sales targets and provide verified documentation to win.
Key conditions included achieving weekly sales of standard Jägermeister 70cl to reach a target of 1,000 bottles, providing verified documentation of target achievements, and meeting the threshold for purchase and sales acceleration within the competition’s timeframe.
Speaking about his win, Adetayo Akinniyi, said, “Winning this award is like mixing the perfect cocktail. I am grateful to Jägermeister for recognizing and rewarding my dedication to my craft.
This is an unforgettable experience, and I look forward to growing in my craft”.
David Ovakpo, shared a similar sentiment saying, “I am overjoyed! Jägermeister’s recognition of my passion for bartending is a motivation to keep up the hard work and creativity behind the bar. Thank you, Jägermeister.”
