Twin bomb hit Maiduguri

ABOUT 48 hours after a twin bomb blasts that rocked Madagali market, Yola, where 56 were reported dead and 177 injured, another twin blast hit Maiduguri on Sunday.

Number of causalities as at press time was unconfirmed. Police spokesperson, Victor Isuku, confirmed the blasts, which he said was near Old NEPA office.

Alhaji Danbatta, a member of the civilian JTF revealed that it was a suicide bomb attack and the total number of injured persons was unknown.
