Suit
Suit is the most common and traditional piece you could find people wear over a shirt. Some wear it as part of a three-piece attire. Others wear it over a single or double breasted waistcoat. Suit is versatile and can go well with a bow tie, a cummerbund or a necktie, in fact, you can wear a suit without any neck accessory. You can easily match your suit with leather shoes or oxfords. A suit does not offer much details. The lapel finishing is the same with the suit material, same as the pocket. A suit can also be worn at any time of the day.
Tuxedo
Tuxedos, also known as tux, is conservative. However, it is elegant and stylish. No one wears a waistcoat as part of a tuxedo collection. The tuxedo is traditionally worn with a front-pleated white shirt. Its accessory of choice ranges from a cummerbund to a bow tie. Due to the nature of the pleated shirt, a tuxedo- straight tie combination is a faux pas. The finishing of the tuxedo is detailed with satin. This is used over the lapel and the breast pocket. The tuxedo is a perfect match for late evening dinners, balls and other evening affairs. You should wear leather shoes to complement tuxedo.
