The music star whose style of music is influenced by the Jamaican Raggae beat may have recorded success with his music over the years, but the journey to fame and wealth was quite rough and challenging as he revealed that no one believed in him.
Patoranking who has an album to his credit said he never stopped believing in himself even if the odds against him were high, noting that he went through a lot of dissappointing moments before his big break came.
He added that “I will never forget my story from nothing to something.”
Everything seems perfect now for Pato as he’s fondly called, but the Skylevel crooner said he understands how hard life could be, but would never be cowed by pressure. One of his best moments remains his time as one of the judges of The Voice Nigeria, and Pato reckoned that he would continue to embrace the opportunity to share his music knowledge and humble background with people.
“ I am a ghetto youth but God and people are the secrets of my success. They never paid attention to us. We struggled on our own and now we are here. They hate to see a ghetto youth win. The media never supported us, but who cares when we have God and the people. Now that we are here, we will make every moment count and I can assure you that God is on our side.”
