Not less than eleven persons were killed while many were injured in an accident involving a truck and a minivan along Akwanga-Lafia road.
The accident happened on Monday afternoon when the truck loaded with cement rammed into the minivan killing some of the occupants including the driver.

The crash on the popular Akwanga hill also left many with varying degrees of injuries.
As at the time of writing this report, officers and men of the FRSC, Army and Police were seen rescuing victims of the crash.
Meanwhile, the Nasarawa State Sector Commander of the FRSC, Ismaila Kugu, confirmed the accident to Tribune Online.
