Oloye, who lives at Ishaga in Agege area of Lagos, is facing a charge of stealing.
The accused, who was at New Africa Shrine in Agidingbi, Ikeja, committed the offence on Feb. 16, according to Police Prosecutor Victor Eruada.
Eruada said the accused stole a Samsung phone valued at N30,000, a tricycle spare tyre valued at N15,000 and a cash of N51,000 from a tricycle parked at the roadside, property of the complainant, Mr Halilu Abdulahi.
“The complainant parked the tricycle at the roadside to get something in a nearby house but on his return, he discovered that the items had been stolen.
“Oloye forgot his phone in the tricycle and he was traced through the phone and handed him over to the police,” he told the court.

The offence contravened Section 287 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Section 287 stipulates a three-year jail term for offenders.
The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties like sum.
The Magistrate, Mrs G. O. Anifowoshe, adjourned the case until March 21.
