The Smart Card Reader deployed to  Unit 20 Ward 7  in Ondo West Local Government Area of the state during the governorship election in Ondo State, rejected the thumb print of the State governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko.
The governor who voted  around 11:30am had to fill the incident form before he was allowed to vote during the state.
Mimiko, however, said the people of the state will resist any attempt to rig the election while he urged the people of the state to protect their votes.
