Tribune wins DAME Award in Editorial Writing

Nigerian Tribune has won the Diamond Awards for Media Excellence (DAME) in the  Editorial Writing category, which was presented to it in an epoch making event in Lagos.

Mr Segun Adeoye Kasali of the Tribune Lagos Bureau received the award on behalf of Mr Edward Dickson, the Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief of African Newspspers of Nigeria (ANN) PLC, publishers of Tribune titles.

According to its organisers, “DAME is an annual humanistic scheme designed to encourage media responsibility,” having its first outing on March 20, 1992.
