Tribune reporter, Wale Olapade, 3 others appointed special advisers to president of FTAN

In his determination to strategically make a pivotal edge in the administration of the umbrella body of all tourism associations in Nigeria, the National President of the Federation of Tourism Association of Nigeria (FTAN), Mr Nkereuwem Onung, has appointed a four-man advisor to make it a reality.

The four-man advisors are; Nigerian Tribune Tourism Editor, Wale Olapade, FTAN National Public Relations Officer doubles as Special Adviser Media; Andrew Okungbuwa, Intergovernmental/Special Duties; Alex Nwuba, Special Adviser on Tourism and Travels and Justina Ovat, FTAN Vice President, South-South as Special Adviser on Hospitality and MICE.

The above appointments which were made known on Friday, March 11, 2022, take immediate effect as the SAs have been directed to swung into actions in their different capacity.

Speaking on the development, the FTAN boss who was in high spirit on taking the federation to an enviable level said there is no time to waste as there are a lot of things to be done with the shortest available time.

The above key appointees are necessary to play a major role in giving FTAN robust leverage in the present scheme of this.

“FTAN has a new vision and dream, and we are trying by all standards to reinvent our practical commitment toward collaboration among the component associations under FTAN,” Onung added.
