Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Nasarawa State has ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to allow People Democratic Movement (PDM) Governorship Candidate, Musa Nagogo to inspect electoral materials used in the March 9th election.
The candidate is challenging the victory of Abdullahi Sule of All Progressives Congress (APC) over the omission of his name and his party logo in the election.
Ruling in the ex-parte motion, Abba Mohammed, Chairman of the Tribunal, directed INEC to avail the candidate access to all the materials used in the election.

Earlier, Ahmed Adamu, Counsel to the petitioner, appealed that the tribunal should compel INEC to allow his client access to all the election materials used to substantiate his claim.
The Counsel said that the ruling of the Tribunal had further shown that the judiciary is indeed the last hope of a common man.
The tribunal also ordered INEC to allow David Ombugadu, the Governorship Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to inspect the electoral materials.
