The trendy elastic socks shoes

There is a trendy footwear in town and the fashion world acknowledged   American style influencer and reality television show star, Kim Kardashian for introducing it to the style world; the lycra ankle length  peep-toe shoes, also known as the hooker boot.

This edgy footwear is made from fitted lycra fabric with a detailed zip at the back, which gives the illusion that the wearer is wearing an ankle socks with the shoes. The trend was first debuted by American rapper, Kanye West, when he launched his clothing line last year. His wife, Kim, who was the first person to rock the foot wear had other fashionistas drooling over it and it eventually became a trend. Apart from lycra, the shoe’s ankle fabric has also been extended to jeans with chunky heels, for an easy and painless strut.

Trust Nigerian celebrities who always love to up their fashion ante, many celebrities have been photographed rocking the trend. These trendy shoes look gorgeous when paired with a mini dress or shorts. However, It is advisable to keep your make-up minimal when wearing these shoes, as it is really attention-grabbing, so in order not to look like a hooker, as was dubbed by some ‘not-fan’ of the edgy heels.
