THE classical mom jeans can be seen to be trending once again. Mom jeans are originally known as high-waist women’s jeans. They were fashionable in the 1980’s and 1990’s and were mainly worn by middle-aged American women and considered un-hip by trendy younger women. Mom jeans then came back in style amongst women in the 2010’s but started trending well just recently.
Whether you like it or not, mom jeans are in season and we’re talking about stylish designs you’ll actually want to wear in public. Here are the do’s and don’ts of styling momjeans like a fashion :
Make sure they fit
Mom jeans are meant to sit high on your waist like a pair of waist jeans, which means the wrong pair can leave you with a seriously unflattering appearance. Look for a pair that isn’t too tight in the front.

Show a little skin
Because momjeans have a long inseam, you’re going to be pretty covered up. You can balance things out with a flash of ankle or bare shoulders. You can wear an off-shoulder top to improve the appearance
Tuck everything in
Tucking everything in would give you a more defining look. For instance, if you’re wearing a baggy shirt, tucking it into the waistband will keep you from looking fat and give the illusion of a smaller middle.
And if you prefer a crop top instead, pick one that fits right on top of the waistband.
Don’t go too baggy
Do not go for an all too baggy mom jeans. Although mom jeans are typically meant to be baggy but an oversize version would help you look bigger.
