Traditional rulers, youth leaders and notable personalities across the Country will be in attendance at the 74 years birthday celebration of Maye Olubadan of Ibadanland, Senior Chief Lekan Alabi on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at his Akobo residence in Ibadan.
Oloye Alabi, as contained in a statement made available to the newsmen in Ibadan has disclosed that the celebration would be in a low key noting the prevailing economic situation in the Country.
He added that the occasion would be used to solicit support for the government in its bid to revamp the economy.

“I am calling on the people to assist the Government in whatever way we can, towards steering the National Ship out of the painful effects of various economic reforms, as soon as possible for our collective relief and economic recovery”
Oloye Alabi had served the state in various capacities including, the first Culture Ambassador of the National Museum and Monument, Ile-Ife, Chief Press Sector to the four former Governors of Oyo State from 1983 to 1989 and the General Manager of Corporate Services, Oodua Investment Companies Limited
