Towards preventing fire disasters in dry season

Published by

WE are in the dry season, and there is need for us to be careful on how we handle fire at this period so as not to bring about fire incidents.

Things burn faster in this period, and we must not take anything for granted. I just want to share with us some safety tips in preventing fire incidents. Firstly, we must not leave burning things unattended to. Some people will set out to burn their refuse and leave as soon as they ignite the fire. This is dangerous, as the fire could go beyond burning just the refuse. We should also ensure that our electrical appliances are switched- off whenever we are not in the house. Those who burn bushes while searching for bush meat should also be cautioned. May we not experience fire disasters.
