Evangelists Tope Alabi, Yinka Ayefele, Senwele Jesu, and many others thrilled members of staff, family, and the community at an event tagged Celebration of Jehovah held yesterday in Lagos.
Celebration of Jehovah is from the stable of Halden McCall, owners of Suru Express Hotels.
The artists performed different songs of theirs and even prayed for the audience while ministering through their songs.
Speaking on this initiative, the owner and general managing director, Halden McCall, Dr Edward Akinlade, explained that God has indeed been magnanimous and gracious to him; hence, the reason for celebrating him.
Dr. Akinlade said the Bible also acknowledges the celebration of God on all days, regardless of whether it is good or bad, for he is the only person with reasons to do so.
According to him, the celebration of Jehovah is a platform to give praise and adoration to the king of all kings.
“God has indeed been magnanimous and gracious to me in all ramifications. So, why won’t I give thanks to him?
“As a matter of fact, the bible acknowledges the celebration of God on all days, regardless of whether it is good or bad for he is the only person with reasons to all.
“We have been doing this for a long while now but only once in a year.
“The celebration of Jehovah is also a platform to give praise and adoration to God,” He said
