Faith-based filmmaker and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Oreoofe Williams, has assured that preparations to host dignitaries and participants for this year’s ‘Awo Jesu Easter concert and festival 2017’ have been concluded.
The three-day event, which will commence from April 14 to 16, will be graced by popular gospel musician, Evangelist Tope Alabi, Bishop Wale Obisoye; actor, Kolade Segun-Okeowo, among other dignitaries, while Chief Tunde Bamgbose and Chief Gbolagade Akinpelu will make special appearance.
According to Awo Jesu as he is fondly called, the official inauguration of the new ultramodern audio-visual studio, which is part of the activities to make the event memorable, will be commissioned by Tope Alabi and her husband, just as he noted that the festival will feature the launching of Awo Jesu musical video Volume 1.
The event with the theme: ‘I’m A Champion’ slated to hold at the city of talents, Awo Jesu Avenue, Off Arapaja junction, Ibadan, Oyo State also promises to empower and educate youths towards mental development. The free retreat event will also feature film show, drama, love feast sports, among other programmes.
