According to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) 2023 report, the top 10 publicly quoted companies with the highest number of employees in Nigeria have been announced.
Dangote Cement tops the list with 19,073 employees, followed closely by United Bank for Africa (UBA) with 10,007 employees.

Despite economic volatility, these companies employed a total of 73,234 people in 2023, up from 70,904 in 2022. However, some companies, such as Flour Mill, faced significant financial challenges.
