Tolu Obey shines with new single, ‘Odun de’

It is no more news that Juju musician, Toluwaleke Obey-Fabiyi is enjoying his venture into the music industry having toed his father’s path. Tolu Obey, as he is fondly called by his fans, at the moment, has taken a giant stride in his career following his latest work which is currently gathering momentum on the music scene and social media.

The grey haired musician revealed that he is set to dazzle his fans with a fresh rhythm through his latest single entitled: “Odun de” as the Yuletide season approaches.

He also added that, “the release of the single at a time like this is very important as it reflects the Yuletide season. I also intend to refresh the memories of people with the old tunes in a redefined way.”

According to the guitarist, the new single is a gospel music and rehash of his father’s popular hit song. “I redefined the Miliki song into Hip Hop, a tune no one has heard before. The response of the promotion is encouraging and I am confident that it will be widely accepted immediately it hits the market under the stable of my father’s marketing company, Ebenezer Obey Music Company Limited later the month.”

Tolu Obey, who is committed in changing the face of the traditional Juju music through his works, also featured artistes including Segun Obe, Bembe Aladisa and Deborah Adebayo in the new single.
