Popular entertainment label, Jamika Entertainment has won five music awards for rising stars in the music industry at the just concluded Top Naija Music Awards (TNMA).
The award show which held virtually, due to concerns over the pandemic, once had, now famous artists like Korede Bello and Rekkado Banks as its previous recipients.
The eighth edition of the show, which was to acknowledge activities in 2021, saw the rising entertainment powerhouse that parades the Sultan (aka Afroboy), Yung Bos, Koredianx and Church of Men winning Best Music Album, for his sophomore LP Afroboy.
Also the record label’s producer, Dave ‘Dexterity’ Achina, clinched the Best Music Producer diadem.
Head of Operations, Stanley Ihensekhien, said, “No denying we are ecstatic on winning five awards, though can’t help but feel greedy we should have won the whole six we were nominated for.”
He continued: “But we are thankful that we are being recognised for all our hard work, and we look forward to winning more major awards in the future.”
Ihensekhien hinted at the company’s potential projects, saying, “We have got a lot of exciting music projects to release this year. We are also working with some A-list artists in and out of Nigeria to give our fans the best.”
