Tiwa Savage to perform at Royal Hibiscus Hotel premiere

After a successful international premiere at the Toronto Int’l Film Festival (TIFF), the romantic comedy ‘Royal Hibiscus Hotel’ (RHH) is set for a Lagos grand finale.

The Lagos premiere will assume a “Festival of Music, Food and Love” posture at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island venue on Sunday, 4th February, 2018, according to the statement signed by the organising committee and made available to Saturday Tribune.

Mavin Record’s protégés, Tiwa Savage, Johnny Drille and Reekado Banks as well as Tolani, Veentage Band and Kaline will hold the stage with musical performances before the screening. Also, Cobhams Asuquo, who created the film’s score, is billed to perform.

Royal Hibiscus Hotel is coming on the heel of a record-breaking movie of the Ebony Life making titled, The Wedding Party 2. And it features, Zainab Balogun, the dashing and overbearing event planner of the awarding winning movie. Don’t we all want to see the other side of Zainab Balogun?

The rom com has Zainab Balogun as the lead cast as Opeoluwa, the daughter of Segun and Rose Adeniyi. Segun Adeniyi manages a run-down hotel in a little town in Lagos, Nigeria. In other to pay his debts, Segun decides to sell the hotel unbeknownst to his wife. This leads to the events of betrayer and love as Opeoluwa, his London-based daughter, meets Deji (Kenneth Okolie), the would-be buyer of the hotel.
