Titan Trust Bank set to redefine retail banking in Nigeria

Titan Trust Bank, one of the five new banks recently licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), has said on its launch, it is set to make its customers enjoy the benefits of banking.

The bank, which is expected to operate as a national financial institution, have on its board experienced financial gurus, giving the signal that the bank is ready to compete with the long-standing and well-rooted Nigerian banks.

According to a lender, the bank was formed to take advantage of the identified gaps in the banking sector and address the unmet needs of the retail mass market, SMEs and corporates.

The new bank headquartered at Plot 1680, Sanusi Fafunwa Street, Victoria Island, Lagos State, is said to have the following facilities: Commercial Banking, SME Banking, Digital Banking amongst others. Titan Trust Bank further posited that it will leverage on digital platforms to empower the emerging pan-African economy, while showcasing the industry pioneering solutions, expertise and professionalism.

Led by seasoned banker and former deputy governor of the CBN, Mr Tunde Lemo its chairman, the new commercial bank, is starting operation with a solid post capitalisation financial base in real cash.

Titan Trust Bank Limited was established on the 12th of December, 2018 and obtained its National Banking license on the April 26, 2019, to operate as a commercial bank with national authorization.​

The bank has said it was formed to “take advantage of the identified gaps in the banking sector and address the unmet needs of the retail mass market, SMEs and corporates.
