Tinubu’s victory, testament to strength of Nigeria’s democracy — APC chieftain

The Supreme Court judgement that declared President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the duly elected president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has been described as a testament to the unwavering strength of Nigeria’s democracy.

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, a philanthropist, medical doctor, and Chief Executive Officer of MADE Foundation, Dr Michael Akintomide Ajilo, made this description in a statement made available to journalists in reaction to Tinubu’s victory at the apex court on Thursday.

Ajilo noted that the triumph also showcases the vital role the judiciary plays as a fact-finding institution.

The statement reads in parts: ‘President Tinubu’s dedication to the ideals of justice and fairness has shone brightly throughout this arduous journey.

His unwavering commitment to the principles that form the bedrock of our nation is an inspiration to us all. In the spirit of unity and progress, I urge Mr. President to extend an open-hearted invitation to the opposition.

Together, we can channel our collective energies toward the critical task of nation-building, fostering economic growth, and tackling the diverse array of challenges that face our beloved country.

You’ve all been instrumental in advancing the cause of a better Nigeria. Your tireless efforts are a beacon of hope for our nation’s future. Let us move forward hand in hand, in the pursuit of a brighter and more prosperous Nigeria.'”
