Tinubu’s economic policy tough but needed — Bagudu

Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, has expressed that the ongoing Economic Policies of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, though very tough, is the only option left if Nigeria’s Economy must grow again.

Bagudu While fielding questions from Journalists at the Governor’s residence in Government House, Birnin-Kebbi explained that the Economic Reforms biting hard on Nigeria and the Nigerians populace, this he assured that it is going to be temporary.

The Minister pointed out that himself, being part and parcel of the Economic Reform’s team as Minister of Budget and Economic planning, what is going on is what will make Nigeria grow again.

He pointed out further that President Tinubu thinks of Nigeria, thinks for Nigeria, and thinks like Nigeria for it to grow economically again.

“I want all of us to be courageous; though Nigeria has not been where we want it to be, we must all be courageous to take the Country to where we want it to be.”

“I am a believer in Mr. President’s ongoing Economic Policy, every part of Nigeria is blessed with its own economic potentials, if a particular place is blessed with Oil, another one is blessed with Groundnut oil, if you are blessed with Cocoa, another person is blessed with Milk, if you are blessed with rice, another person is blessed with Guneacorn.”

“What is most important is for all these to be supported so that Investors can come and tap on the available potentials. This is what President Tinubu believes in and that is why his bold economic reforms so that every part of Nigeria can be best for it,” he said.
