Tinubu urged to immortalise Chief Iwuanyanwu

A call has been made to President Almade Tinubu for immortalisation of the President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo worldwide, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu.

A journalist cum asocial crusader, Chidiebube Okeoma made the call while speaking with the journalists in Owerri on Friday.

Okeoma said that the late Ohanaeze Ndigbo’s contributions to the nation’s building could not be overemphasised.

He described Iwuanyanwu as a sports enthusiast and financer, political giant, employer of Labour, serial industrialist, and a community leader who devoted his 82 years on earth to championing the progress of Nigeria.

He said: “though Iwuanyanwu died at a ripped age of 82, his invaluable experiences were needed most now as the nation currently faces economic hardships and insecurities”.

According to Okeoma, the least the FG could do to honor a man who worked for the country’s progress was to immortalize him.

He said: “The least the federal government can do for Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu is to immortalize him. He was committed to the Nigerian progress. Chief Iwuanyanwu invested in various sectors of our economy. He hugely invested in sports, politics, aviation, industry, politics, media, commerce, and generally in humanity. He should be immortalised by the federal government.”
