Tinubu to give 36 CNG buses to Labour unions

President Bola Tinubu has pledged to provide 36 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses to the labor unions in Nigeria.

The announcement came on Thursday during a meeting with the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) to discuss the new minimum wage for Nigerian workers.

Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, stated that this initiative is part of the government’s efforts to ease the high cost of living for workers.

Each of the 36 CNG-powered buses will have a seating capacity of 100.
