Tinubu to deliver June 12 lecture at Abiola’s Lagos residence

President Bola Tinubu has been scheduled to deliver a lecture entitled: ‘Converting pain of June 12 Election Annulment to Gain of Present Administration’ in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of MKO Abiola Epetedo’s declaration of June 12, 2024, in Lagos.

The programme which is put together by the Civil Societies and Organiser of the 13th National Discourse, Coalition of Pro-Democracy Groups for A Better Nigeria will be held inside MKO Abiola House, Off Toyin Street, Ikeja, Lagos State, by 11 am.

The 2-day event will also feature a special fidau prayer for the repose of the soul of Late Abiola and other victims.

The prayer will be led by an Elder statesman and renowned Islamic Cleric, Prof Sabitu Olagoke

Dignitaries expected to be in attendance include; Gov. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State, Gov Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State, Gov Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State, Gov Chukwuma Charles Soludo,  of Anambra State, and Gov. Alex Otti of Abia State.

Others are: Gov Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq of Kwara State and Chairman, Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF), General Alani Akinrinade, Gov.  Uba Sani of Kaduna State, Babagana Zulum of Borno State, and Senator (Engr) David Umahi, Honourable Minister of Works; Mr Olubunmi Tunji – Ojo and  Honourable Minister of Interior
